Afraid
I have been avoiding this blog because of my fear of the scale. Since I have started this blog I have lost 7 lbs, which is not so bad. I have done Lost It, Weight Watchers and South Beach. I have lost great on each when I stick to any program as long as I add exercise. That is where I am now, I am eating healthy but not exercising. I need exercise motivation.

I'm just Lazy
Even though my knee injection didn't fully work it did take off the edge of the pain, so I had intended to exercise when I got back from vacation. Well it is now Thursday and I have not exercised once. I have not even went to the store to get my low carb foods. I have lived on crackers and peanut butter all week. UGH

I am home
And this is a part of my mountain of laundry which I am not complaining I love doing laundry just not always so much at one time. Good news is I lost 1.5 pounds while on vacation. Bad news is my last knee injection really didn't work so unable to walk much at the beach. Starting back on low carb today though since it was a carb frenzy on vacation.

Warm soup for cool evenings
Made a huge pot of chicken and wild rice soup for my low carb suppers for at least 3 days. Burnt out on chili after 2 big pots in 8 days. I made this recipe up myself from things laying around my frig.

Sooooo Tired
LONG week, low carb going well I guess. Lost 5.5 lbs first week. So far this week no weight loss but 2.5 inches from waist. Weigh in Sunday. Started exercising with the Wii again. All upper body and cardo since knee not cooperating at all.

Eggs again
I don't know how many more days I can eat eggs. Starting to get to me. YUCK. Scale still only showing a 4 lb loss which is kinda disappointing because your first week you are supposed to lose the most. Last time I lost 11 lbs. At least I will get to swim today for exercise so maybe that will jump start something.

What happens when you forget your lunch while your on the road? Taco Bell Nachos Bell Grande without the Nachos. It was tasty and so far 4.5 lbs were gone from the morning weigh in.

Already a loss
The scale is already showing a 3 lb loss. I weigh myself everyday can't help it. It keeps me motivated. I am staying very full and satisfied but may already be sick of eggs. Made chili last night so will be able to eat on that for a few days plus it is something different.

Low Carb Breakfast hits the spot
Wow I was stuffed with egg beaters, mushroom and cheese along with broccoli salad for breakfast. I am just now eating lunch at 1:00 which is a huge difference from 11 when I have cereal for breakfast. Chicken tenderloins again for lunch with ranch sauce. But my low carb worry is already starting!!! UGH although I already feel more energy and not so sluggish. If my knee was not hurting so I could possibly get some real exercise in.

First Day

Chicken for Breakfast
Starting low carb eating the South Beach way. Nothing in the house to eat so chicken for breakfast. My sister says I won't last 3 days and with all my diet failures she could be right but I won't know til I try. I know I have lost 30 lbs and I am proud of that. I am off to the store

Slept great
Trying to rid my house of carbs today. Not going crazy or anything I hardly have any food in the house at all. Just had cereal for breakfast probably peanut butter sandwich for lunch. Having a baby shower this evening so their will be cake and finger foods. Then the store either after the shower or in the morning. Now to sweep this pet hair covered house then a nice swim.

Had a full day
A variety packed Friday had one visit then watched a movie with my sister then sat by the pool and swam, got ready and ate at Bob Evans, then Mariah's gymnastic meet, then a little gaming and home to make some videos for my other blog. During my variety packed day I have decided to try the South Beach again. It worked before and I am so sick of counting calories. My weight has stayed the same so that is good. I need to get away from carbs. They zap my energy and having me craving food all day hungry or not. I think I will start Sunday since I have no food in the house.

Eat like a skinny person
Well I am pleased and shocked to discover I only gained half a pound this week with so much food and such little exercise. I did get a 70 min swim yesterday despite an all day headache. I want to learn to eat like a skinny person. I want to take small bites, not clean my plate every meal, not eat because it is there,etc. I want to hit someone when they say 'I forgot to eat lunch' I wake up thinking about lunch how can I forget something as important as lunch. Skinny people forget lunch!!!

End of the season
Ate the last cucumber yesterday morning then last evening we mowed the garden down, picked the last of the potatoes, squash and green beans. I have been doing much better than normal since I think I had a high blood sugar scare. I have always had normal blood sugars and Friday Amy who has gestational diabetes let me check mine and it was 153. I had had a huge breakfast and a small lunch of a peanut butter fiber bar about 20 min prior to that test. So I looked that number up and read on one site that was normal and on others that is high. So high or not I am doing much better eating and exercising.

Turning into a monkey
I have eaten 3 bananas this evening. I guess there could be worse snacks but when counting calories that is almost 300. Other than the banana binge I have done decent this week. The scale already down 2 lbs. Hoping for a successful weekend as well.

Fresh Peaches Plus
So far so good counting calories. Got a ton of fruit in today starting with fresh peaches from a tree overloaded in the yard, then raspberries, and watermelon. Then some other foods in between that were low in calorie, even snuck is a swim and mowing.

Starting over AGAIN
In a little over two weeks I gained back 5 lbs. So even though my knee is terrible and I will have very limited exercise options, I am started over back to my Lose It calorie counting program and focusing on more whole food choices instead of processed food. Here we go again geez

Corn Day 2010
Corn day starts early with a trip to Gritts to get the corn this trip only 28 dozen despite only asking for 20 dozen. Then a little over 2 hours to shuck and gather. A trip to my house to wash, blanch, cool, cut, bag and seal. Just finished up about 60 quarts but it sure will taste good this winter even though it was 11 hrs of hard work.

Another fresh picked breakfast
The garden is looking kinda rough. Too humid and too many bugs have kept me out of the garden. But still enough veggies for breakfast. We even have fresh peaches now. I could kick myself for not getting that fresh egg from the coop. I would have made an omelet. Sick of counting every calorie and point, I am anti monitoring thus weekend. I will start back on Monday but I think I will go back to Lose It.

Kids are Hard
I have been babysitting for friends from Thus to Saturday night and wow kids are hard. I was unable to exercise other than a short swim between kids. I am glad I came to the conclusion at a young age I am too selfish for kids. Sure they are cute and cuddly and usually smell good but they take everything from you and you have no time for you. So stepping on the scale this morning I have lost a big zero. Weight loss and kids don't go together I learned that this week.

Geez

Praying for the rain to stop
Haddie Rose was caught out in the rain today and now looks like she is praying it stops because she likes it outside. Although we need the rain I had planned on working outside this evening weed eating as my exercise. I did eat well and will have fruit this evening for snack. I may get out and just hand weed my flower beds.

I did get some more exercise...
Walking around the mall spending money. Now I know why I rarely go to the mall. Tennis shoes, bras, earrings, tarts and Mariah some school clothes over $200. But I have to say that lately my dad has just given me $1000 just being nice, which I am using on my credit card. Jackie won almost $3000 gambling in the last few days and she gave me $250. So I guess I won't ask her to pay her part of the cell phone bill this month. My family is great!!!

Scale hates me
UGH. I can't get back on track. I am not getting my exercise in because life is getting in the way. I have just a little too much and not moving enough. Things have got to change soon. I did get to swim for 40 min today until it started storming. Tomorrow is another day.

Full day of work, then quick trip home to get Henry to go to vet, then home for a few and back out to get car estimate. Finally home, ate well but no exercise. Still have to type a report and THEN a 3 day weekend. Spider from my nature walk.
